Author Description

Everyone probably remembers their very first car. My first car was a 1966 Volkswagen Beetle that I purchased shortly after my 18th birthday. It was a love affair with that car that would drain my bank account, create family drama, and provide some wonderful adventures. Those events, good and bad, and their effects on me are recounted in this book. I am currently the owner of classic Sea Blue Beetle. It is my third 1966 Volkswagen beetle, and the most original of the three that I have owned. There are thousands of stories told about how a first car is more memorable than a first love, or a first kiss. That may be true, and if you are lucky, you still have both. This is the story of my ongoing obsession with the 1966 VW beetle.
