Chadwick Luther Houston IV, you can call him Chad, was not happy with life. Sure, his room was filled with all the toys and games a ten-year-old boy could want, but even these had grown boring. His parents worked all the time, and the few times they were home they were fighting. Chad was afraid they might get a divorce, like so many of his friends' parents. He had an annoying little sister who always got her way. School was boring and meaningless. So he decided to run away. He didn't get far before he heard a voice and saw a small man holding on to the limb of a bush.
