Author Description

This book is a compilation of essays and stories about places I've been, sights I've seen, and lessons learned from travelling. In it, I narrate the experiences of cruising around Cape Horn, down the Rhine River, around Sicily and Malta, and a week's stay in San Diego, California. Some of these stories have been published in various venues. Some have not been featured elsewhere. This is my second book on travel. I wrote the plus sign after it because I added a few essays about a trip to San Diego, which were not in my original second book. I've included color photos. This collection is not a travelogue. In telling you about places visited, I include a take-away message about the attitude one needs to voyage the seven seas in today's world.
