We hope you're excited to begin hiding the Word of God in your heart! Our prayer is that this resource will make memorizing Scripture attainable by helping you work on small, bite-sized bits every day. When we work at memorizing Scripture, we invite the Holy Spirit to work in our hearts supernaturally.Throughout Scripture, we learn of the power it holds. Hebrews 4:12 tells us it is alive and active and penetrates our hearts, exposing our thoughts and intentions. The Word of God is also called the Sword of the Spirit, which helps us fight our adversary, the devil (Ephesians 6:17).We know memorizing Scripture can sometimes seem a little daunting, but as we've practiced memorizing Scripture ourselves, we've seen the Lord bless our efforts. Even if we don't remember every word perfectly, He uses the time we spend meditating on His Word, so don't get discouraged if you don't do it perfectly.
