In these days of high-speed warfare, rapid positive communication is more vitally important than ever before. The advent of mechanized warfare, made possible by the development of motor vehicles, airplanes and tanks, has created a demand for a fast, flexible, and mobile communication system, and radio is the only means of communication which will meet these requirements.
