All Harry Woods wants to do is fly so he joins the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. However, soon the Second World War starts and he's called up for active duty. This is his first-hand account of the Battle of Britain. Includes historical notes about the Battle and a timeline of events. Suggested level: primary, intermediate, junior secondary.
