From the Author After retirement, my husband Robert--born in North Carolina, has lived in many parts of Europe-- changed his lifelong hobby (writing) with my active participation into an exciting accomplishment and has written 22 works in 12 years. He passed away in March 1998. I myself --born in Germany, also lived in England before coming to the US--founded a publishing company for small editions, memoirs, family history and, of course, our own books, in 1995. We both received awards as local authors in 1996,1997 and 1998.
