Author Description

The series aims to develop students' competence in basic English writing skills and composition. Each unit in the two books is based on a cartoon to provide visual stimuli for the writing exercises. Many of the most popular contemporary cartoonists are featured: Andy Capp, Hargreaves and Thelwell.
