<p>This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-workshop proceedings of nine international workshops held in Milan, Italy, in conjunction with the 6th International Conference on Business Process Management, BPM 2008, in September 2008.</p> <p>The 63 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions. </p> <p>In addition to the well-established workshops on <br><br>Business Process Design (BPD 2008), <br>Business Process Intelligence (BPI 2008), <br>Collaborative Business Processes (CBP 2008), <br>Process-Oriented Information Systems in Healthcare (ProHealth 2008), <br>and Advances in Semantics for Web Services (semantics4ws 2008),</p> <p>there were four new 4 workshops on emerging areas: <br><br>Business Process Management and Social Software (BPMS2 2008), <br>Model-Driven Engineering for Business Process Management (MDE4BPM 2008), <br>Process Management for Highly Dynamic and Pervasive Scenarios (PM4HDPS 2008), <br>and QoS of Self-Healing Web Services (QSWS 2008). </p>
