Suddenly you are dropped into a world of the unknown, cursed to traverse a liminal hellscape for the remainder of your insignificant life. Insignificance. The concept that you have made zero impact in the realm of humanity. It's easy to feel hopeless in a universe so void of hope. You find a simple notebook, one that you would take notes in for school. Next, you find a toolbox, the only security you can attach yourself to. At least you have something to hold your notebook, right? Then, you feel the pull. It's a calling of sorts. You thumb through the blank pages of the notebook and realize, maybe my impact won't make a crater, but I can at least be remembered in some way? So, you begin writing, hoping, making that wish that somehow, some way, you won't pass on into the void of the forgotten. There is something to be said about a record. As long as it survives, so does the memory of you and all that follow you, assuming they accept the calling. Welcome to The Wanderer's Toolbox Canon. Here is a collection of stories written by wanderers, whether by accident or not, have accepted the calling to try and make the most out of their experience in the backrooms and write down everything they see. They will have moments of great excitement, even happiness, but they will also have hardships and turmoil. As you read these stories, remember who they are, and who they were; after all, they so desperately wish to not be forgotten.
