I am as much surprised as many of my readers will be, that after being an evangelist myself for the past ten years, that God should call me to write up the labors of another evangelist but thus it is, and thus it has pleased God to have it. It has seemed to me, all the way through, that God would be greatly glorified in this publication to the world of His wonderful works in saving so many thou sands of souls in connection with the labors of Brother Harrison. It has been exceedingly difficult to find out the facts in the case, because Mr. Harrison has failed to keep any diary. I have had to travel from State to State, and from city to city, and from pastor to pastor, so that I could write a candid statement of this most wonderful series of revival meetings.
