Detailed historical electoral statistics by state are appended. Biographies of all the Presidents and their First Ladies are also included. Various documents such as inaugural addresses are also appended. A more condensed (365p.), very useful guide to similar information is found in Jeffrey M. Elliot's & Sheldon Ali's Presidential-Congressional Political Dictionary (ABC-Clio, 1984), which at $40 ($17 paperback) is suitable for small and medium-sized libraries.
