In the middle of the 90s, Dr. Martí Casadesús started a research line in the field of Quality Management. Being a new topic it was without a doubt a challenge for the research activities. Just a decade later, the results of sucha choice have been successful and this research has become one of the most fruitful activities: as it is well known, the economic impact of Quality Management is nowadays on the research agenda for a significant number of research groups. Furthermore, all over the world quality standards have played a key role in the globalization of management procedures and industrial relationships due to their “common language” characteristics.
