"Catalogue for a retrospective exhibition of Gu Xiong's artwork in Chongqing, China, that was shut down the day before it was scheduled to open. This catalogue documents the artwork as well as the process of removing it from the gallery. The artwork focuses on themes of migration, immigration, migrant labour, and social justice. It is primarily mixed and multi-media installation (including photography, video, sculpture, and object-based work) as well as acrylic painting."--
