The Buddhist Rock-cut cave temples represent one of the greatest movements of Indian Art. These lithic examples not only reflect the style of contemporary architecture, but also show the gradual perfection achieved in expressing in rock. They are amazing examples of man's ingenuity in creating in solid rock, temples and monasteries, shrines and chambers, refectories and store-rooms requires by the followers of the Buddhism. This book has been written to interpret the Buddhist cave temples, as I have seen them. Conclusions may be revised when new facts will be revealed.
