With this publication "Delheid 1828-1980; From Michel to climax" and the exhibition of the same name, one of the most important Belgian silver manufactures from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries at last receives the attention it deserves and for the first time steps out of the shadow of Wolfers. Three theses provided the basis for a better knowledge of Delheid's corporate history. Nathalie van Hamme analyzed the manufacture of Delheid Frères coffee and tea services, Raf Steel took an in-depth look at Delheid Frères'art deco period and Brigitte Boonen focuses on art nouveau.
