This book addresses in depth, the history, context, identity, meaning, scope and significance of the 1901 declaratory statement of the Presbyterian Church of Australia. In doing so it explains how the declaratory statement colours the reading of the Church's subordinate standard the Westminster Confession of Faith with a certain understanding.
