Continuing cuts to the education budgets in America are killing our children's creativity! In the face of "no money for elementary school education programs," we can blame, get angry, or choose another possibility altogether- one with a proven, successful track record. As experienced and portrayed by this author, parents, educators, and local community members are all part of a simple solution. As an active mom and arts enthusiast, and with over 22 years of experience with the PTA, schools and school districts, this author has watched and experienced how budged cuts have destroyed music and art programs in elementary schools across America. Our children are losing their desire for creativity in school. The author's harmonious solution to solve this problem has been implemented and proven. Arts education facilitates student academic achievement and develops the creative capacities for life-long success.
