Edited and revised October of 2014. It's just a little longer, a few less errors, and maybe a little more fun.My name is Ben Rhodes. I'm a story teller. I tell stories. Most of my stories are a little unbelievable. Okay. I admit it; they're real whoppers. I like to think they are fun to read. It is my way of inviting you into my rich imagination.IDA is certainly not an exception. Unlike most of my other books, I can promise you long passages where seemingly nothing happens. I had considered not publishing it, but there are very wonderful passages in there if you can stand all the time it takes to set them up. Some, who have read it, even say it caused them a laugh or two.Maybe there are other stories where the reader is told the outcome from the beginning. I don't know. In this case there is a reason. Given the circumstances my heroes are put in, it would be foolish for me to try to make you think they might succeed. So from the beginning, I tell you they will fail. There is no since getting your hopes up.Brownie and Annette are given a simple mission. Considering that it's Annette's first mission as an IDA agent, that is probably a good idea. The hitch is that not all missions are as easy as they first appear. There are always unforeseen complications. Moreover, sometimes the villains don't know the script and deviate from it.Brownie's the experienced agent, but knows nothing about sailboats. In fact he's never been on one. On the other hand, Annette is the experienced sailor. She's also had a few years in law enforcement. It would almost seem the perfect team. Their abilities complimented each other's.Then, of course when dealing with sailboats, a person is at the mercy of the weather. When dealing with a new law enforcement organization, a person is subject to foul-ups and when dealing with the criminals, a person is subject to them changing their plans, or possibly canceling them altogether. In other words, easy or not, it's unpredictable.Worse yet this one star
