Author Description

This book is a record of my dad’s legacy. It's the story of what made Dad who he was. This memoir is my gift to my dad and to those who will read and enjoy his story. Dad’s story will remind those who knew him of the difference he made in their lives. His story will also inspire friends of Dad to take what they’ve learned from watching him and pass it on to others. Dad’s life is an example we can all learn from and be inspired by. My hope is that this book will inspire people to finish strong, love deeply, trust God, be faithful, and make a difference with their lives. Someday, you and I will be the topic of a funeral service conducted in our honor. By the way we live our lives, we have the opportunity to determine the tone and outcome of that service. When we gather to celebrate Dad’s life, I’m certain it will be a celebration of a life well lived. We do not know when our time here on earth will end but because of Jesus, we can know where we will go when life’s journey on the earth does end. I’m a better person because of my dad. He persevered when met with adversity, lived on purpose, used his gifts and talents to help others, served with joy, and forgave when tempted to hold a grudge.
