Author Description

This course is designed to increase both your ethical awareness and your moral decision making skills. You will learn about the basis of Western ethical thought, study applied ethics with respect to the act of telling a lie and examine vignettes from the military's recent history. Primarily a discussion based course, we will focus on your personal values and conduct, as well as your moral responsibilities whenever interacting with others, through case studies of both midshipmen and junior officer life.
