An old Africa Proverbs states that "It takes a village to raise a child" and that is what our education system has to be, a village. A village that is willing to put in the time and the effort to make sure that our children receive everything they need to be successful. The village must also find ways to remove or minimize the stumbling blocks in the educational system. A Step in the Right Direction takes an in-depth personal realistic look at how we can make the village a stronger and cohesive agent that provides for the educational needs of our children.
