This work serves as a liturgical musical arrangement designed to facilitate congregational or choral performance of the traditional hymn 'The Strife is O'er'. The author, Ley Henry, provides a specific technical score intended for SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) vocal ensembles accompanied by organ. The arrangement utilizes the established melody by Melchior Vulpius to maintain the historical and theological integrity of the original text.

Experts in choral music recognize this arrangement as a standard resource for church choirs seeking traditional hymn settings. The score is noted for its accessibility and adherence to classical liturgical structures.
