Three years after the murder of Phoebe's sister, other citizens of the small town of Vineyard are killed in a variety of ways. Phoebe believes a serial killer is on the loose. Her suspicions are justified when the severed head of a prominent member of town shows up wedged between two boxes of corn dogs in the school cafeteria's refrigerator.
