Sexual abuse often causes victims to be overwhelmed by a full range of emotions and immense confusion leaving people in a place of isolation and depression. Beyond Myself exists to encourage those who have experienced sexual abuse that there is a powerful restoration process. Designed specifically to aid the victim as well as those outside the perimeter of abuse, Beyond Myself helps the reader understand what a victim experiences, what the aftermath may look like, and what they can do to support and assist in a victim's recovery process. Beyond Myself is designed for teens and adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse, first-responders, law enforcement personnel, legal advocates, judiciary officials, therapists, family members, friends, and people from all walks of life who need to be aware of the needs of sexual abuse victims.
