This parenting guide for teenage parents of infants and toddlers incorporates numerous comments from 61 teenage parents who chose to stay in school after the birth of their child. Specific problems confronting young parents are addressed. These problems include single parenthood, early marriage, and the advantages and disadvantages of living with one's own parents while rearing a child. Chapters also include discussions of pregnancy, breast and bottle feeding, child-proofinq the home, money problems, discipline, and the developmental stages of young children. Directions for making toys for children under two years of age are appended. (Author/JA)
