Everything at school seems to be going right for Alice Larsen. She's just been selected for the cheerleading team and she's got all the right friends. Then Yoon Jun, a Korean immigrant, moves into town. Alice is Korean, too. But she was adopted at birth by American parents; she wants to be considered only as American, not as different in any way.
