Author Description

An African-American woman, from Uniontown, Pennsylvania, tries to find someone to cure her life-long struggle with depression that's tremendously affected her life over the years. Along her journey, she has to overcome many obstacles, which include domestic violence, sexual abuse, alcoholism, natural disasters and many more road blocks. Just as her mind and body begin to deteriorate to a point of agony and pain, she writes her final suicide letter to her family. She finds her wizard--a therapist. She realizes the psychotherapist has given her keys to unlock the future, help overcome the past, and the power to defeat the illness that has controlled her life for so long.
