This vocal score provides the musical notation and structural arrangement for Steven Sametz's choral composition, 'Magnificat'. The work is designed for an SSAATTBB choir accompanied by organ, reflecting Sametz's established expertise in contemporary choral writing and liturgical settings. The score serves as the primary technical document for conductors and vocalists to interpret the composer's specific harmonic and rhythmic intentions.

Conductors and choral directors frequently utilize this score as a standard resource for performance preparation. Experts note that the arrangement requires a high level of technical proficiency from the ensemble due to the complex vocal layering.
