There are those who forget easily that to protest is quite American and that the protester speaks up out of love for country, love for the American ideas, and love for people. There's also a danger of forgetting that that protester goes home to a life. Right, that life we all wish to lead where home represents that place you get support and love. Such a concept seems as much a personal American right as the rights to speak out, to worship and to representation. But not all households are the same and sometimes those who show the most love to their society do not find the most support and love waiting for them in privacy. This collection travels through the facets of social justice that a protest poet might address then, as descending in an elevator, explores the facets of their personal life where, perhaps, one may need care. But isn't that what it's all about: "And justice for all"?And shouldn't home be where all that good stuff starts?
