Snipers! was designed to be simple to play and at the same time challenging for the players. The rules are written to allow the players to spend time contemplating the tactical situation rather than mastering the game system. Games should be finished in an hour or less. Players need to play in the spirit of the rules and play the tactical situation rather than the mechanics of the rules. Because the games are relatively easy to play and fairly quick, replays are simple to do and can give players insights on the situation and on their playing style. As the designer, I would like to encourage you to have fun with the games and appreciate the sacrifice and service of the men who fought in the Italian Campaign.
