Kyle Kites is an energetic All-American kid who possesses a fascination for flying kites. One day, Kyle's sister, Mia Kites, alerts him that the hour is late and they should go home. Kyle gives Mia the cold shoulder and continues flying his kite, ignoring her. Mia becomes upset as night arrives because Kyle is still flying his kite.To Kyle's dismay, a silly bird cuts the cord and the kite gets loose. Kyle runs after it until it lands on the window of a very spooky house.
