Daniel chapter two is a testament to the faith and trust Daniel had for his God, and God’s love for Daniel. He and his three friends had been stolen from their homeland, and were slaves to the ruthless king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. But Daniel’s faith never wavered. It was the dream of king Nebuchadnezzar’s that opened the kings eyes to the fake magicians in his court; contrasting them to the true power of the God of heaven. Daniel was God’s tool used to reveal God’s mighty hand to humble the king, showing him that it was He who had placed him over the Babylonian empire, for a purpose. The interpretation of the king’s dream was prophetic, explaining the events coming upon the earth; most have come to pass already, now history. However, the very last bits of the prophecy are being fulfilled right before our eyes. How blessed we are to witness these things happening that Daniel prophesied!!
