Nine-year-old Miriam has only known a life of slavery. The Israelites had been slaves to the Egyptians for more than four hundred years by the time she was born. Yet, when Pharaoh threatens her baby brother's life, Miriam has no choice but to act. In the dark of night, Miriam faces incredible danger as she and her mother flee the city, carrying her baby brother into the unknown. Soon, it becomes clear that there is no humanly possible way to save her brother. Baby Moses would only be saved by a miracle. She would need to place her little brother into Yahweh's hands.
