Author Description

Thursday 15th June, 2017 will be forever embedded in my brain. I would end the day lying in Intensive Care, ventilating tube down my throat, in an Aberdeen hospital. Billions of people get out of bed every day without any problem, but when I got out of bed it went horribly wrong. I was disabled (wheelchair user suffering from Cerebral Palsy) before the accident, but became severely disabled afterwards. The book charters the different stages following my accident. The four hospitals I found myself in during the journey towards my semi-recovery and the trials and tribulations I faced. This is a true story which is interspersed throughout with my poetry.
