This particular work revolves around the use of alchemy in medicine, specifically the use of antimony and lead. This would directly inform later works such as "A work of Saturn" by Hollandus. The use of malleable, antimonial compounds in medicine would continue for centuries, and according to Roger Bacon it is this universal elixir which comprises the highest tier of the alchemical art.
