Those of us who have had a near-death experience usually return to the physical plane with a more optimistic view of Death, knowing that It too is a temporary condition. No matter what name we give it, whether we call it a soul, a spirit, Consciousness, or energy, when the Physical body dies, our eternal Consciousness continues to live and evolve, and will in time inhabit a new host body, to begin a new journey on the Physical plane.
