This title is scarce and hard to find these days. As its title suggests, The Aquarian Age was a kind of New Age magazine devoted to spiritual or religious practices and beliefs. It was published by the Aquarian Ministry in Santa Barbara, California, founded by George B Brownell and Lousie B Brownell in 1918 to promote the teachings of awaking the human soul through creative words and renewing it by a baptism of the Waters of Life. According to the editors, the word Aquarian in the title was taken from Aquarius, the Sign of the Zodiac, due to the Aquarian Age or Age of Aquarius now influencing humanity. Since immemorial time, the symbol for this sign has been an Ancient with a pitcher pouring water upon the earth. Water has always be used as a symbol for Spirit, and this design signifies "the outpouring of Spirit upon all flesh," prophesied in the Scriptures as covering the next 2,000 years."
