Author Description

This book is about a strange friendship that developed in the Annex of a bookstore on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. For years Steven and I discussed the most arcane and, I would say, profound texts we could find in the Western Literary Canon (John Milton at Dusk). But besides these intellectual pursuits, which helped me write my thesis and become a professor, Steven's personality started to worry me and I entertain to this day frightening suspicions about his behavior (Is it Murder?).
