Based on his doctoral thesis, this extensive study focuses on medical terms in Egyptian papyri. More precisely, Walker deals purely with anatomical terms: the head and limbs, torso, chest, abdomen and pelvis. Each chapter is devoted to a particular term and both the hieroglyphs, a translation and its context of usage are given.
