First published in 1988. Following up on a previous visit in the 1970s to the site of Hierakonpolis this publication records the work of the author from the 1980s to 1986 when she was part of the research team. This work concentrates on the cemetery excavated within the mud brick Fort at the opening of the Great Hadi.
