This volume contains all the historically significant inscriptions from the reigns of the successor of Ramesses II to the end of his line. The fourth volume of translations of the hieroglyphic texts of the Ramesside Age of Ancient Egypt (c. 1300-1100 BC). Coverage includes texts from the wars of Merenptah against the Libyans and the 'Sea Peoples', to addresses to Merenptah from the god Thoth and the goddess Neith. Many texts translated in English for the first time.
