This book is organized chronologically, beginning with Dynasty 0 and ending with Dynasty 34. Following the dynasty number, the inclusive dates for that dynasty are listed in parenthesis. This is followed by the Kings, in order, with their known serekhs and cartouches. About the Author Kevin Johnson, PhD, is a graduate of the University of Memphis, with advanced degrees in Ancient History and emphasis on Egyptology. He is the author of a number of articles on ancient Egypt and has taught Intermediate courses in Egyptian Hieroglyphs. Bill Petty, PhD, is a graduate of West Point and the University of Illinois. He is an avocational Egyptologist who has published numerous articles on ancient Egypt. He has also developed and taught beginning courses in Understanding Hieroglyphic Inscriptions. Dr. Petty conducts tours to Egypt through his company, Museum Tours.
