The worst thing that can happen to a time traveler is to be in the wrong place at the wrong time! This is what happens to Harm Mitchell and Nefer, his friend. They arrive in Egypt a thousand years later than planned, during the reign of Cleopatra VII, as opposed to the reign of Rameses the Great. This is their third trip to ancient Egypt, but by some strange quirk of fate, they end up far to the north in the magnificent city of Alexandra. They soon realize they will have to survive during the troubled reign of Egypt’s last Pharaoh, Cleopatra. They must become part of her struggle to hold her kingdom together as Rome conquers the world!
