Author Description

The Ancient Egyptian religion is a topic of extreme interest, and has been for several centuries. While more is known of their language system now, and more ruins have been explored, the topic remains mysterious today, just as it was when this book was first written. It is most notable for its retelling of a series of Egyptian myths regarding their deities, as well as allusions to the content of the Book of the Dead, with its lengthy rituals and incantations related to the afterlife and to preparing for mortality.
