The last creation myth of the ancient Egyptians was probably created in the second century BC during the Ptolemaic era. This myth is revealed on a text on the religious landscape of the Faiyum, today called the Book of Faiyum. The book describes this semi-oasis with its large lake as the original site of creation, as the center of the world, and of creation's daily renewal.
