English summary: Large parts of the collections in the Egyptian Museum in Leipzig date back to excavations and purchases carried out by the museum's namesake George Steinsdorff (1861-1951). Even though these exhibits have been retained in Leipzig for almost one hundred years, new questions regarding the various objects keep arising and the rapid increase in knowledge in Classical Studies in the Eastern Mediterranean keeps providing new options for interpretation and publication. Coptica, Volume 3 of the Catalogue of the Egyptian Museum in Leipzig lists the complete Coptic and Late Antiquity inventory in the form of around 100 catalogue entries and photographs (partly in colour), now for the first time providing an extensive documentation of the collection. The Ostraca editions contain parts of the correspondences of Bishop Abraham of Hermonthis, priest Markus from St. Mark's Topos and the Theban clergy Apa Aron. The collection of Nubian sepulchral stelae from Qasr Ibrim, largely lost in World War II, which contains objects as significant as an Eparch's stele and the stele of a bishop's daughter, is presented with the help of archive photographs. The collection also includes a richly decorated piece of architectural sculpture showing an early representation of the Apostle Peter, several fabrics dyed with purple and other, multi-coloured substances, and a number of Menas ampullae.
