By compiling biblical manuscripts that were circulating throughout the lands of Israel and Judah during the Archaic Age in Greece, the opportunity was created for this material to be studied by the early Greek philosophers to discern answers to the questions they were raising about the nature of the world. These Hebraic concepts made more sense to the Greeks than those promoted by stories from other cultures. Dr. Milner points out that the proof of this is found in the many similarities between the writings of all the Greek philosophers, and the eventual completed biblical text.
