Jacob Abbott was a prolific American author best known for his makers of history series, a collection of biographies on some of the most important figures in history such as Julius Caesar, Cleopatra, Genghis Khan, and many others.This is Abbott's biography on Pyrrhus, an ancient Greek general during the Hellenistic period who became the king of Epirus. Pyrrhus was also notable for being one of the greatest adversaries of early Rome.
