Author Description

This book has its origins in the collection of fourteen invited papers focusing on Greek and0Roman coin finds and the study of coin use in the Ancient World. At a later stage, three new papers were included that not only match the edited volume?s scope but provide additional views on the study of coin finds in the Greek East and the north-western Roman provinces. These three papers were originally presented at the international workshop?Money and Ritual in the Greco-Roman World?, held at the Institute of Classical Archaeology, University of Tübingen, on 15?16 October 2015.
